The Rotherhithe Public Living Room is a temporary on site space located on the Rotherhithe Holder Station designed by public works. From October – December 2019 it was used for a programme of workshops and events aimed at engaging local people in the future development of this site and proposing a relevant community offer to be included in the final plans for the site.

UP Projects and public works are now working to formalise their ideas into a Community and Culture strategy. These will be reflected at the statutory consultation exhibition scheduled to take on the 26th and 29th February 2020 and will form part of the final planning application due to be submitted in 2020.

On Tuesday 3 December 2019, consultants from Telford Homes, SGN Place and Watermans held two Remedial Work Sessions at the Rotherhithe Public Living Room to inform residents about the envisaged remediation procedures and answer questions from local people. Slides from the event, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions document are now available for download here.
