Please join us to feed into our mapping of social and cultural wealth in Rotherhithe. We will have a large map of the area upon which we would like to start to map 1) Organisational/social collaborations 2) Existing social and cultural programs that organisations are running 3) Social and cultural programs that should exist but don’t 4) Statistic of those who engage in programs locally and those that don’t 5) Structures of care that exist outside Rotherhithe (such as the council for example). We need your input, as you are the experts, come and help us map!

Mapping Scarcity

Our Mapping Scarcity workshop will allow us to create a map that showcases 1) A list of resources that organisations and locals need but don’t have access to 2) Skills that you and/or your organization may want but can’t access due to prior qualification or money 3) Identifying what elements of care are missing 4) Any scarcity related to safety 5) Any other scarce resource felt within the community. We need your input, as you are the experts, please come along to help us map!

Demonstrating Social Value

This session is dedicated to community organisations who offer social benefit in Rotherhithe. The workshop will explore different methods you can use to demonstrate the value of your work when speaking to funders, local government and other potential partners. The objective is to strengthen and support local organisations that contribute so much to the community.

Our third and final mapping session will look at creating a map of Rotherhithe that will showcase 1) In red where residents feel their neighbourhood begins and ends and where they feel they belong 2) In blue where organisations feel their territory is, where they act and do things in 3) In yellow where organisations think they get their audience from and have a duty of care to 4) In green which areas residents feel they don’t belong 5) Areas residents would never go to and why? We need your input, as you are the experts, please come along to help us map!
